At Cottontown Companions, we understand that bringing home a puppy is an important decision. We aim to keep our process fair, flexible, and transparent for every family.

Deposit Policy

A deposit is required to reserve a puppy or secure a place on our waitlist.

Deposit Flexibility

We understand that circumstances can change. While deposits are intended to secure your place, we are often willing to work with families on a case-by-case basis if plans change.

In many situations, deposits may be:

  • Transferred to a future litter

  • Applied toward another available puppy

  • Reviewed for a possible refund depending on timing and circumstances

We encourage open communication—please reach out as soon as possible if your situation changes.

Reservation Commitment

Once a puppy has been selected or held specifically for you:

  • Your deposit is considered a commitment to that puppy

  • Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the deposit

Final Payments

All remaining balances are due prior to or at the time of pickup.

Once full payment has been made, payments are non-refundable, except as outlined in our Health Guarantee.

Returns

We do not offer standard returns after a puppy has gone home.

However:

  • If a situation arises, please contact us

  • We are committed to the well-being of every puppy and will work with families when possible

Health-related returns are handled separately under our Health Guarantee Policy.
